supervon2, that is true of GOP leadership as well. Both houses are controlled by the DFL because last year there was a huge backlash against the way the GOP wanted to control our lives.

And just how many obsolete, ineffective or harmful laws already on the books did they discard during the last session? How about our lawmakers begin reducing some of the thousands of pages of old state laws before they start writing new ones?

Right on, george. I was taught in elementary school (in the forties) that if you can't control yourself someone will do it for you.

That's more laws than days these "leaders" are in session. So I guess all previous laws are foolproof, and work perfectly? What a collective group of total wasted space. Hope you're enjoying your tax funded 35% raises!

George, so the redefining marriage and taxing smokers are designed to keep people behaving? Interesting take....... I don't see it that way, but everyone has the right to their opinion
