Pro Bowl changes perturb Allen

MANKATO – Jared Allen, five times a Pro Bowl selection, isn’t a fan of the format changes that will dramatically change that game if the Vikings defensive end is fortunate enough to make a sixth trip.

Why don't they just play flag football (two handed touch below the neck) and include the Lingerie Football League players as well. That would make this game more interesting than anything we've seen the last 10 years. No disrespect Mr. Allen, but watching you grab Monica Moore before she can hit the seam in the line is much more exciting than watching you fake a tackle on Jerome Bettis.

Vikes cut Webb, he won't be a free agent very long, maybe a matter of seconds. Which brings me to the subject, of his playoff game last year, did not throw a pass, in the regular season, despite Ponder having more than one horrific game, then Webb, got tossed into the fire of a playoff game. Would love to see him get picked up by another team, and get converted back to QB, and have a successful career. There are a lot of smarter coaching staffs, than the Vikes have, and the so called expert Viking fans, that were quick to judge Webb, based on one game. If the above happens, hope Ziggy gets smart and fires Spielman, it would make it all worthwhile.

Dear Jared, The 2 superbowl teams don't have to worry about the pro-bowl as I understand it. Maybe a change of mindset on what is really important this season would be helpful !!!

Bengraved, I'm not even sure what point you were trying to make. I think, you need, a few more comas, in your, thoughts. Holy cow, take a grammar lesson.

Bengraved, Webb's previous outings were the reason I basically gave up hope the minute I found out Ponder was inactive. Juke left, break tackle amazingly, scramble, then throw an absolutely hideous pass down the field. Yeah, it's fun, but it doesn't win games.
