SAN FRANCISCO — Netflix's latest attraction will enable families and other people sharing the same account to set up separate identities so the Internet video service can give them better recommendations on what to watch next.

Good idea, I like it! Now we can have a 'family-friendly' profile and another one for the adults.

Great. Maybe now they can update their video streaming service so that it doesn't take 5 minutes for a video to start (and then need to periodically rebuffer).

lindn1...that sounds more like an issue with your internet provider. My videos start up with 10 seconds or so, at most I think it's maybe 30 seconds and rarely do I get any rebuffer stops.

Yes, lindn1, I had problems with my Netflix and other streaming feed buffering until I got a new modem.
