Column: Whether he gets a year or life, not much sympathy for A-Rod taking punishment

The Detroit Tigers know what's coming, so they went out and got themselves a new shortstop for the rest of the season. The Yankees know, too, though they don't seem nearly as concerned about their upcoming loss.

If anyone deserves to be banned for life it's this guy. Make an example of him. He's washed up as a player anyway and doesn't deserve to be within sniffing distance of the Hall of Fame.

A-Roid should be banned and all of his records erased. Ditto for McGwire, Sosa, Bonds, and others. Bill G.

Madonna must have misunderstood. It was PED, not just ED.

The snake oil saleman should be the first one banned from baseball Pud selig didnt mind that players were using PEDs as long as owners were making money, the owners knew, Pud knew , now they want to kick people outhmmm how about Loria , How about the Wilpons , how about the Pohlads(they lied to the government , they cheated the fans ,and stole from the state)....But the first to go should be Selig himself , he never should have been allowed to be the commish in the first place

I don't understand A-Rod here. The dude had a max contract already. I understand he doesn't want to be hurt, but what was he thinking? I can understand some role player who needs an edge to stay in the league another year. What has that guy got to lose? But A-Rod was in his last contract; it was a max one; and now he's going to lose it all. And all for nothing.
