Wisconsin dairy cow gives birth to rare set of triplet Holsteins; odds are less than 1 percent

FOOTVILLE, Wis. — Wisconsin dairy farmer Steve Case knew his pregnant cow had been acting strangely, but nothing prepared Case for the sight that greeted him when he responded to an urgent bellowing from his barn.

I would name that cow 'Fertile Myrtle'!!

It didn't say if the calves were all the same sex or not. With twin or triplet calves, if a heifer calf (female) is born with a bull, there is a 90% chance she will not breed when she gets older. Three heifers would be the best outcome here, and that would be really rare.
