Bachmann, allies pitch Interstate 94 widening to Dayton; say project should be state priority

ST. PAUL, Minn. — U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann and other elected officials from along Interstate 94 between Minneapolis and St. Cloud are asking Gov. Mark Dayton to consider making it a higher state priority to widen the freeway by a lane in each direction.

Do you ever drive on that route, Matt? Thousands (if not tens of thousands) of Minnesota taxpayers do every day and would welcome the improvement. This should not be a partisan issue, but apparently when Michele's name is attached, it brings out the haters.

Matt, No - The Stillwater bridge project is a FAR bigger boondoglle. Is it too late to stop that asinine project, Michelle? $700 Million wasted. Plus continued maintenance and operation of the old bridge? Where is the tea party outrage? Oh, many live in that district, I forgot.
