Minnesota counties changing where they issue U.S. passports

Hennepin County has yet to decide what it will do to comply with State Department restrictions related to security concerns.

This is yet another example of nonsensical bureaucratic mumbo-jumbo that the feds seem to come up with. All too often.

Shut it down. I agree that it is non nonsensical bureaucratic bull, but the legislation addressed here probably comes from discovered/observed security problems. If people want/need to travel then let them take the extra step and go to a more secure Federal government system for their passport needs. It really is no big deal. Reduce the risk of bogus passports getting out and spend the money monitoring/watching the employees at the Federal level.
