FAA certifies first 2 drones, commercial operations expected to start later this summer

WASHINGTON — Federal regulators say they have certified two types of unmanned aircraft for civilian use, a milestone expected to lead to the first approved commercial drone operations later this summer.

That's great! Make sure these drones are safe enough to take out U.S. citizens who need to be taken out with no due process of law. Sounds logical to me. Your tax dollars at work.

Those are for private energy companies not military. And since it is a private energy company then it has to be ok. Remember they are the job creators (our overlords)

These drones have a special sensor that makes them capable of locating and spying on the highly paranoid.

Yes let's spend a lot more money, put pilots' lives at risk, burn more fuel so that we don't hear the scary word "drone". Ridiculous that this is even controversial.
