What happened to the free market these guys love so much? "Downtown is in trouble and needs a shot in the arm"? Well, that describes me pretty accurately. Where's my shot in the arm? Oh, that's right. I'm not a "jobs creator". Part time, low paying jobs. For which we pay tens of millions and then another 9 million because someone didn't do a soil test during pre-development. And why would we want to give someone that incompetent more money? Must be because they're "free market job creators who are in trouble".

5-10 % of proceeds and 1-10 % of a potential sale? The revenue share is still that vague this late in the process? Wow. Great planning.

You people must have more money for candy than God. What can't you spend on, even when you don't have the authority to do so?

Going to a Saints game was always more about the freakshow, than the baseball. I always loved bringing out of town guests to games. Now $60 million dollars later, I'll probably just bring them to Twins games.

Hope people show up for $8 beers and hot dogs. That's what it will cost to pay for this practice stadium that goes great with the practice freeway. Both brought to you by Colemans.

"St. Paul officials announced last month that the ballpark was over budget, mostly because soil at the site was found to need more stabilization and cleaning than previously thought."...I would have thought this would have been thoroughly researched and discovered when the site was first selected.

Stpaul is binding over backwards to approve any and all costs for this project. $10k revenue per game does not even begin to cover $60M build cost. No projections or fancy income " theories" will ever make this thing viable.
