I sure wished Pee Wee Herman would have gotten two rbi's yesterday and two today instead of four all at once last night. This morning, actually.

Your Twins: Still right on schedule to attain the dubious achievement of their third 90 loss season in a row.

I'm quite sure the "stats" are against the team recording only two hits....somehow BallFour will try and dispute that. The reality is folks, this time next year your beloved Gardy will be below .500 in his career. The thing that really matters in professional baseball is wins and losses, not what a great guy he is.

More fine umpiring. When does technology replace these people who nap through the games they get paid to oversee?

No complaints about the horrible mistake by umpires to not call the infield fly rule in the ninth that cost us the game. The runner on first was left hung out to dry, no way that should have been a double play. Even the Angel players said they had never seen that happen before.

Someone explain why that wasn't an infield fly rule?

didn't see the play, but have to assume that the broken bat hit of it caused the no call. even gardenire didn't blow up after talking to the umpire.

Last night we bunted over two runners with no outs. Today, with same situation and Carroll on bench Morneau swings away. Stats do not lie! He has a .275 chance of getting a hit and that's against the average pitchers faced all year, not a closer. What is his average this year against closers? The situation called for a bunt so we could score a run without a hit.
