Tiger Woods flops again on a major stage, never solves greens at tricky Muirfield

GULLANE, Scotland — Tiger Woods kept staring incredulously at the ball — when it veered off in odd directions, when it stopped rolling far from the cup.

Yeah Tiger proved he was human about 5 years ago. This is how it goes when you find out that you are just one of the guys on the tour.

To much muscle ruined his game. While his physic looks good, its not good for golf. Look at his decline, it all started when he got on roids and injured himself, knee. He could have been the greatest. He's still number though.

"Flops"? Come on. He's got 14. The flopper is poor Westwood.

The PGA really has to ask the TV networks to turn off the microphone when Tiger is hitting. Most of us duffers swear and cuss after hitting a bad shot but to do so on national TV...and multiple times...is a huge turn off for a lot of fans.

I still think Tiger will get lucky and win one more Major and some minor tournaments. His issues are psychological. He's trying to smile and put on a good face for the cameras. But most people are never the same when their vices are exposed to the public.

Tiger won several majors by his sheer talent and will to win, overpowering lesser players. He also won majors by intimidating guys into playing worse than they would otherwise. After he was exposed as a lout and a liar and his personal flaws became public, he shrunk as a man and as a player. I wouldn't be surprised if he was on some kind of PED in his peak based on his connections with shady suppliers and then his rash of injuries (and it was never in the PGA Tour's interest to expose him if was guilty). Well, Tiger is now just one of many very good, very talented top-tier golfers. He also intimidates NOBODY anymore. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he never wins another major.

PED's, public humiliation, maybe even Karma = no more majors for Tiger. Don't have stats on hand, but I heard he is something like: 9-16 under par in majors this year on Thur, Fri: Something like 25 over par for the Weekend? Just saying?
