Chris Colabello is getting used to being called up by the Twins — this week’s summons is his fourth of the year — but it never gets old, he said.

A 29 year old minor leaguer? Yup, just what the Twins need.

After reading and watching Chris Colabello, I have come to the conclusion he is a class person>No he may never stick in the majors, But he has perserverd , he has a lunch box mentality, He gets up every morning and goes to work,Which is why Im pulling for him to succeed, As i too carried a lunchbox for 36 years. I hope to see this young man excell and contribute to Twins success for the next 10 years, but wether or not ....He is a class person , much simular to R.A. Dickey... Go Chris

When Thielbar was promoted, that was about the same reaction here, Twinsvision. Oh. Jamey Carroll debuted in the majors at 28. So that's a 12-year career. About $20 million in pay. More than a decade of big-league meal money. Mike Redmond appeared at 27. Played 13 seasons. Parlayed it into a big-league managing job. How's that sound for a life?

Good move keeping Blackburn and giving up on Liriano.

@Ballfour.. Good job at cherry picking a handful of exceptions to the rule. None of them are difference makers, marginal ML players at best. Perfect fit for the Twins. Yup, just what the Twins need, another 29 year old minor leaguer.
