Sounds like a virtually unavoidable situation for fire crews. They faced the need to get in position to attack the fire source (wings and fuselage)to save hundreds, or exercise undue caution to assure one or two individuals were not in the path while delaying the rescue of many. Life is not fair.

yes indeed; life is not fair. she may well have died, in any case, from her injuries; but now the family will never know. but; any person that could even think of blaming EMERGENCY ! responders in this case may have no understanding of courage and action.

She was probably hidden by the foam so it's pointless to blame anybody. If that was the case they need to figure out how it can be prevented in the future.

"It also urged U.S. investigators to deal properly with the finding and affix responsibility for the death" Ahh, the plane crashed, due to affixed Asian errors. If the plane hadn't crashed, she wouldn't be dead. Period. Don't blame & try to prosecute the people trying to save lives, they didn't purposely hit her. If you don't like it, don't crash your planes in the U.S.

The claims made in this story and by the representatives of the fire department are outright, easily proven lies ..... There is good photographic evidence of the crash scene ... from the ground as people were leaving and from the air a few minutes after the crash .... there is a continuous video - that runs from seconds after the plane came to rest that covers the next almost 30 minutes ... there was no chaos and no panic when this young woman was run over ... the firetrucks had been stationed on that side of the aircraft, but slightly further away, for over 14 minutes before the fuselage caught fire (a smaller fire on right side of aircraft had been largely extinguished.) Almost all passengers had evacuated in first 10 minutes or so ... and photos show no one on ground in that spot....there were many people walking past that exact spot, and if someone had been down they would have stopped to assist ... worse the same firetruck was there within 30 or so feet for over ten minutes before it put down ANY foam .... and trucks did not move closer to the fuselage until after 20 minutes had passed. ... the tire tracks show the truck drove over her BOTH pulling up to aircraft AND backing away.... Again this was 20+ minutes AFTER the crash - the only chaos was the fire departments complete inability to control the fire that broke out inside more than 15 minutes after the crash ...
