#1 should be The Hunt For A Hundo!

That's all there is to look forward to? I'm not even sure that riding this diseased roster of the ENTIRE "coaching" staff, while very appropriate and necessary, is enough to cheer us up given the poor personnel choices upper management continually makes.

The fans should be able to chalk mark the years since 1991 World Series win on the cell block back stop behind home plate.

World Series? We've now hit the same number of seasons between the '91 Series and today as we did between the '65 and '87 Series appearances. This slow re-build stuff is nonsense. Boston turned it around on a dime. St. Louis rarely must do so. Dave St. Peter is the team president. I guess he can't do much if the owners won't pony up money, but if they will, then he needs to find a GM who will spend some of it. That's step one to look forward to. I get that Terry Ryan knows more baseball than me. Big deal. It doesn't seem like he's on the same level as some of these franchises. Why not? If we can't figure that out, then find a new GM.

I can't for more pitch to contact from Blackie! in Sept.

In a coinciding marketing promotion when Blackburn returns, on the days he pitches one lucky fan will be chosen at random for a free water-boarding demonstration on the Target Field Plaza.

#6: How about spending some money and go after some decent free agents, now that the Polads own a bunch of car dealerships!!!

Nick Blackburn? I thought this article was supposed to be about holding my interest - not my breath. Just reading that he was still in the organization was enough to depress me....but hearing he is "on the comeback trail" just ruined my weekend.
