The All-Star Game has gone from simply a game to a series of events since it was last played here in 1985.

Good list of the Hall of Famers in the 1985 game (although Gary Carter didn't play in it). In 1985 the managers, Dick Williams and Sparky Anderson, are also in the Hall of Fame. The 1985 game has just as many Hall of Fame players as the 1965 game in Minnesota, which isn't what one would expect from a game played 20 years later, and there could be a few more from 1985 making the Hall, including Jack Morris, Lou Whitaker, Alan Trammell, Tim Raines. It wasn't much of a game--not as exciting as the 1965 game--but there plenty of great players to see.

OK Pohlads' - you now will have more revenue from all star game on top of the massive revenue boost thanks to the average tax payer and fan. When will you finally step up to the plate and spend some of that warchest on fielding a team that is worth watching?!?!? We have been waiting..........
