Weekly US unemployment benefit applications fall to 334K, a sign of an improving job market

WASHINGTON — The number of Americans applying for unemployment benefits fell 24,000 last week to a seasonally adjusted 334,000, a sign that steady job gains should continue.

Last week it rose 20,000 and that was a sign of steady job gains. It appears no matter if applications rise or fall its a sign of steady hiring.

The trend looks good but with this many unemployed Americans why is the US Federal Government still flooding the labor market with cheap foreign labor? I would like to ask Al Franken, Amy Klobuchar and the US Senate what they were thinking when they passed an immigration bill that will flood the US Job marlet with another 33Million foreign workers over the next decade.
