Uncertainty on what the Fed and Congress will do is complicating job of economic forecasters

WASHINGTON — Politicians and economists are straining to get a clearer view of what the economy will look like a year from now, when midterm political campaigns are heating up. Republicans see the glass as half empty; Democrats view it as half full. And the economists aren't sure.

"And the politics are such that the closer we get to the midterm elections, it's more likely it is that nothing is going to be done," he said....that would be a "PGO" (penetrating glimpse of the obvious), they have done nothing for two years other than continue to vote to repeal the ACA and name post offices (rather than close them), why expect anything different now!
