And according to the Twins' season ticket holder survey, package prices for all 4 events of the All-Star Game will run from $340-$500 per ticket. So unless you are willing to pay through the nose, don't get you hopes up for an affordable event that you can take your family to. Most of the fans will be from out of town, it seems to me, at that pricing.

Some of you may want to consider renting your home out at a premium price for 3 or 4 days to those out-of-towners coming here for the game.

I hope they hurry up and find some way to make that black baggie in center field look more attractive. It is an embarrassment to an otherwise beautiful and green ball park.

I went to an All Star Game years ago in Milwaukee when it was actually still a game. At those prices, I'm not going. I'll give up my seats. Good for downtown business though.

What a great opportunity to show off the Pohlads LAST PLACE MINNESOTA TWINS. I am sure at this point next year......

Once Pohlad rakes in the all-star game profits look for him to put the team up for sale before the 2015 season.

MLB Allstar game next year at Target Field should be an actual 'sell out' (43,000 tickets sold and 43,000 people actually show up. As opposed to a 'Dave St.Peter sell out' (43,000 tickets sold and 14,000 show up).

I always feel bad for people who are so negative - it must take a lot of effort to be so hateful. This will be a great boost for our economy. I know several people who will be purchasing ticket packages - no different than spending money to go on vacation, just that it's a 'stay'cation instead!

Gonna try and fit St. Paul into the "Twin Cities". What a joke!!! You'll do everything in your power to make sure they don't leave Minneapolis once they invade your city. Just like when the RNC was at the Xcel Center. You got all the lodging and entertainment money from that, St. Paul got hosed on that deal, and it's going to screwed again.

It's a nice event for the Twin Cities. Phoenix figures it resulted in $67M in direct spending into the local economy when they hosted it in 2011. Would much rather have it here than not. I just don't know that I am one of the people who will be in attendance due to the probable cost of the tickets.
