Information campaign involves putting green ribbons on trees threatened by ash borer.

The emerald ash borer is able to be controlled. In fact there is a lot of research that shows it's a lot less expensive to save the trees over 20 years - then remove them. Thats why Milwaukee and Chicago along with many other enlightened cities are saving their trees. Not removing them. It appears the far left wing chemo phoebes are going to let all the trees die despite the overwhelming evidence that the treatments are very safe. What hey are missing in their fear induced brain fog is that the loss of 20% of our trees is catastrophic for the environment. Even 1 large tree is valuable - and you can save it for less than cutting it down.

My boulevard ash trees have already been disfigured because of pruning around power lines. Where can I volunteer them for removal so I can replace them with something more height-appropriate?
