Forget about the quality of the education, this is the really important stuff. What the hell has happened to America?

From the article,“I think that it sends a strong message that the U is committed to inclusive excellence,” said Katrice A. Albert, vice president of the Office for Equity and Diversity at the U. “We want to make sure that our campus is as free from bias as possible.” -- Of course, if you smoke, well...

VP of the Office for Equity and Diversity? Positions like these are the reason our kids can't afford college. What a disgrace that taxpayer money goes to this.

I think the law is clear now and we don't need to set up another agenda. It is a public institution. I sat in a Bible study in the 70's at Coffman Union minding my own business and some lefty came into our study and started ripping on us for our beliefs. We were not free from bias. I hope things have changed for everyone since the 70s. If people want to smoke, find a place to express your habit and smoke you e-cig in peace, if people want to study the Bible with friends, leave them alone. If you want to eat 3 bags of french fries you may need to answer to your insurance company.

Tuition hikes are out of control at the U and they're more interested in building sports stadiums than they are with their abysmal graduation rates but hey, at least the couple dozen LGBTs studying there feel welcomed and according to the Strib that's really all that matters.
