More than 1,000 people hoping to translate military skills to civilian life sought jobs and tips at the annual event.

I do have a lot of sympathy for their plight, but the fact is, that many of the vets came right out of high school, went through basic training and learned skills that cannot get them a job after their stint is over. That is why there is the GI bill and every single one of them should use it; they earned it, and it might be their only hope for a decent job in America, that loves to send all our decent manufacturing jobs overseas.

Another sign of the Obama economy. 1000 trained and hard working people cannot find a legitimate job because the government has a strangle hold on the economy. It is truly sad that the federal government put the people is this predicament.

US Federal government just keeps flooding the US Labor market while American Vets and millions of Other US Citizens struggle to get a job. You can thank the Gang-Of-Eight and Your US Senators for continuing the war on working class Americans with their newly minted "comprehensive" immigration bill. Thankfully the US House is thinking his through more carefully.
