“One of the worst offenses in Minnesota is to be blocking someone else at a boat access,”......And yet the DNR keeps adding more and more AIS regulations, fines, roadblocks, cleaning stations and weed recycling bins which creates lots of fear, confusion and boater logjams at our public boat launches.

A hose with just lake water would really help. I typically carry a pole brush in the boat and just keep rinsing it off at the ramp in the lake while I remove the scum from the boat.

Seriously? Another feel good, expensive,($$$$$) measure that will do little to stop or even slow down the spread of Aquatic Nuisance Species. Face it. The horses are out of the coral already. These limited steps are at best 10 years too late. Why these measures may look good on paper here in the Strib., they will prove to be ineffective.
