Just more gasoline on the fire of racial division. Nice job, Sack. You are now officially part of the problem not part of the solution.

Hate to break it to you Sack but George Zimmerman is Latino. Go ahead and look it up.

A big thumbs up for dakforprez. Sack, you should be ashamed of yourself-but I'm sure you're not because obviously you're buying into the George Zimmerman is a racial profiler b.s.. When the 9-1-1 operator asked whether he (Martin) was white, black or Hispanic Zimmerman paused and then hesitantly said: I think he's black. Does that sound like a racial profiler to you, Mr. Sack?

Really Sack? I always thought you were smart enough to understand current issues. Guess not. You've just stained your reputation and have lost most of your credibility.

dakforprez: right out of fox news protocol 101 and on cue... if you don't agree with someone, or they have a different viewpoint than yours, blame them for drawing attention to the other side. It doesn't matter what race anybody is, or was, in this case. The fact remains, as one person commenting a couple of days ago said, that Zimmerman, in their opinion, broke no laws and did every thing right. There should be 100 red flags going up after that statement; because if it is true, a kid is dead. Could it happen again? Remember, guns don't kill people; people kill people.

Sad but true. Gun violence is a leading cause of death in the African-American community for young males. Nice job Steve Sack - I shared your cartoon on my FB page.

"The Talk" for African-Americans would include the fact that the greatest physical threats to young black males come from other young black males, not police, vigilantes, or white Hispanics. I suspect most black parents, in so many words, communicate this message to their sons. It's not politically correct, such thoughts would ruin careers in the news media or academia - but their sons would have a better chance at surviving to adulthood.

@Deb1101-"Gun violence is a leading cause of death in the African-American community for young males" *** Correct, but who are the overwhelming perpetrators of this gun violence? This is the elephant in the room that the media, Holder, Obama, Sharpton and Jackson refuse to address or even acknowledge.

Why should Sack be persecuted by many of you when he is merely pointing out the obvious? It is a fact that many people had to discuss with their children the implications of the trial in relation to their race. Sack isn't pouring gasoline on the racial divide fire. The only way to overcome the racial divide is to empathize and understand your neighbor's plight; not completely deny it exists.

>>> Why should Sack be persecuted by many of you when he is merely pointing out the obvious? <<< He is being criticized, not "persecuted," for pandering to a tendentious and inflammatory simplification of the facts.
