How come the Twins weren't lucky enough to have Balfour in their system so Andy could "work" with him and teach him to "pitch to contact"? Imagine how good Andy and Gardy could have made him?

I remember seeing Balfour live at the Dome and he absolutely blew away the Yankees. Then he got hurt...and as usual the Twins gave up on him.
