Asiana says it will sue San Francisco TV station over use of bogus, racially offensive names

SEOUL, South Korea — Asiana announced Monday that it will sue a San Francisco TV station that it said damaged the airline's reputation by using bogus and racially offensive names for four pilots on a plane that crashed earlier this month in San Francisco.

First, let me say I abhor the actions of anyone involved in reporting the false names. That's completely unacceptable and heads should roll. However, it's clear the airline's reputation wasn't damaged by that incident. I'd say the plane crash, and the actions of the pilots did that. Can you say diversionary tactic?

Dear Asiana, You've got bigger problems then worrying about a prank at a TV station. And just for the record I think having pilots that don't know how to land a plane damages your brand worse than some stupid prank. Please get your priorities right.
