Bazz was smooth out there, and it looks like he can score anytime he wants to. On another note, CJ McCollom dazzled and scored 23 points from all over the court and looks like a real talent. Bazz is younger. CJ had 4 yrs of college. I hope both do well, but Bazz is now the man, and fits better with the team we have. Can't wait to see if 6'7" Kevin Martin or 6'9" Brewer can handle the 6'3" sparkplug. Portland has real talent this year, but so do we. It'll be a dogfight.

Last night Muhammad's defensive effort was there but he's a project - can’t stay in front of penetrators, doesn’t contest shots, gets stuck on screens. He'll have to improve by leaps and bounds to see any playing time with Martin already a defensive liability. Dieng has a better handle than Wes Johnson and clogs the paint well. Brown definitely a steal, a first round talent with big body who understands the game. Glad he coasted in college to fall into the 2nd round.

Muhammad looked terrible out there. CJ is the real deal and Flip took a page out of Kahn's book and blew it bigtime.
