There's no question this team has talent. But so did last years team, and look what happened. We had great expectations last year too, then suffered injury after injury, and the season was a disaster. The key is Love staying healthy, as he has never had a season where he played in every game. That's ok. As long as we can keep him fresh for the playoffs, and give him some rest at the end of the season, I'm fine with him missing a game here and there. But if we stay healthy, we can compete with anybody. Good job so far, Flip.

Flip has done an excellent job!!! If the Wolves can stay healthy, we have a good chance to win 50 games and make a deep run in the playoffs!!! Keep up the good work, flip and let's get Pekovic signed!!! Go Wolves!!!!

The west is wide open...LA is done, San An is old, OKC 2nd best player blew his knee out, LA Clippers the wolves can beat...Yeah, a healthy wolves team can make some noise if they play smart team Adelman wants.

Kudos to Flip and Rick Adelman! Basketball is so much more exciting when players perform with selflessness and a high game IQ! This could be a real Minnesota team....

The dysfunctional Wolves brain trust is now a well-oiled machine. Flip is in lock-step with a Hall-of-Fame coach finding players whose style of play fits the system to a T. These players will get open looks in areas where they can shoot a high percentage. How refreshing and encouraging to have a balanced, talented roster. Flip the Savior!

As much as I'm happy that Flip seems to be rejuvenating the Wolves, my life long passion is the Gophers. And it sure would have been nice to have this same energy and expertise--along with his pro credentials and name recognition---focused on recruiting Minnesota's 2014 class at the U of M. Hopefully Pitino can get it done and the T-Wolves will be relevant again!

Lets get real fellow Wolves fans. Pek and Love are one of the worst defensive upfront duos in the NBA. Rubio last year played first as Meadowlark Lemon, then Bob Cousey and then finished trying to become Bernard King. You win with the all stars. Burke and Krilenko are all star type players and are gone. Dieng has some chance to improve the Wolves as their best defensive center however, the players brought to the Wolves by Saunders are mostly average NBA players. Is our final goal now to get the 8th seed?

They (Saunders and the Wolves) should be excited. They have a rotation and bench that makes sense, and has flexibility. If we stay healthy, this is going to be a fun team to watch.

Excellent. NO more ACL tears, knee breaks, and knuckle push-ups. Lets have full accountability in the health department please.... lets knock Lebron James out of the ESPN highlights, and finally put the Timberwolves on the national spotlight.

High on my list of players after the starting five Souhan mentioned would be Dante Cunningham. Has he been forgotten?
