The expected signing of Nikola Pekovic will wrap it up.

I think if Shved can find his shot, he may just get the lions share of the minutes backing up Rubio. That will keep the Wolves long at the 1, and Lorenzo Brown is 6'5", and long, but needs a lot of work. JJ can come in for some instant offense minutes ala Vinnie "The Microwave" johnson from the bad boy days in Detroit.

Anybody notice Flips version of a balanced roster? He added 6 african american players and, and subtracted 3 caucasion players and one african american player. We've changed from an almost all caucasion team, to a team with 9 african americans and 6 caucasions. Much more balanced, and I think we needed that. I believe we already have our roster full, with 15 players.

And the roster count is... 1. Turiaf 2. Brown 3. Dieng 4. Martin 5. Muhammad 6. Brewer 7. Cunningham 8. Johnson 9. Williams 10. Barea 11. Budinger 12. Love 13. Pek 14. Rubio 15. Shved. And that's not even counting our 4th draft pick Bojan Dubljevich. Maybe they haven't signed Brown yet, and that final spot is open to whoever grabs it.

I wouldn't write Lorenzo Brown's name in with pen just yet. Don't think Flip or Rick want to go into season with three rookies. Bet he ends up in Europe, like Hummel last year.

Hummel will play in the summer league. One guy from that team has a chance to nail down the final roster spot. Who will it be? A lot of high hopes and just a few spots to be had for the many players that didn't get drafted. 1st game on NBATV will be on Sunday morning 4 am eastern time. I'll be watching.

Does anyone think Hummel may have a chance to make roster? How has he progressed since last year?

At long last Wolves have a GM able to create a balanced team with an identity. Every move Flip made was predicated on whether the player would fit into Adelman's system. Kahn's nightmare roster consisted of disparate parts kluged together with players/assets regardless of position, size and fit. This new and improved roster is tailored to Adelman's coaching style of downscreen corner offense where the wings can shoot. The players also fit better with Rubio running, spreading the floor and dishing to players who can finish. Wolves can now run, have a strong inside presence with Pek and can hit the 3 with Martin, Love & Budinger. Hail Flip and a 50 win season!

I am very, very excited for the upcoming season. Very impressed with the way Flip put this roster together! 3 deep at every position!

renovation usually means new, not installing components previously used like martin and brewer. I am underwhelmed so far
