The ex-Gopher didn’t waffle when he could have ditched the Wild and picked his own NHL landing spot.

I like Haulas chances and I like his character. I am a Lucia guy as well.... I am being positive tonight for a change..... Still have a hard time envisioning the leadership in place to work with and properly put these guys in the proper positions to have success... I am negative in that regard

He was the best player on the ice on Thursday at the prospect camp. He looked like he was coasting against the 18 year olds.

How ironic would it be if the Finn who ends up being the second line center is Haula rather than Granlund who we all assumed would have the job?

The commitment of these guys is amazing. Their workouts are brutal! I don't know how their bodies keep from breaking down, it seems like they never get any rest! That is why it is hard for me to get on these guys when they aren't playing so well, I know how hard they worked out in the off season. Unbelievable men in an outstanding sport!

Great to see Haula wanting to play for the Wild. Also, seeing that Vanek works out at the U during the summer has to bode well for signing him next year.

Is Haula still banned from the Stillwater bars?

Haula is highly skilled. The Wild show employ the virtue of patience with him and let him get accustomed to the NHL. He is definitely talented enough to center the Wild's second line. I look forward to watching him develop even more.

Ugh, my last post should read "the Wild *should* employ patience ..."

Lose Knopka and Stoner. Then Yeo. Bring in Haula, Dumba for starters. Granlund needs to beef up up to even be considered.
