REVIEW: Concert at Midway didn’t disappoint.
A superb show from the Poet of rock and roll!
The Train whistle was awesome in Watchtower...I heard that and thought what an awesome monent forsure!
Another highlight was Wilco's cowbell performer. He dazzled like an erotic mime.
Great night of music, except Midway majorly dropped the ball on vending. 14,000 people coming to a show between 5:30-11 and there's three places to get food? Total mess and horrible planning.
The busses were nice. Who paid for them? I say thanks to them.
Wilco's cowbell player is their guitar tech Josh-he makes his slinky/sleezy appearances every now and then. They covered Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" at their festival and his performance was an added bonus.
Yes. Great show. Impossible to get food. Reminded me of mmj at somerset last year and the beer lines. Supply and demand is a concept that so many places don't get. Concessions are easy money if done right.
@villageguy No one rocks the cowbell like Wilco's guitar tech Josh! My dream is that, one day, he'll come out during "Hoodoo Voodoo" from stage left and Will Ferrell will come out from stage right LOL!
Midway dropped the ball on the ticket scanners, too. A number of us had been lined up since the morning only to get stuck with scanners that "don't always work right away". Lamest excuse I've ever heard. I'm pretty sure you're supposed to have that stuff worked out BEFORE the gates open.
