#1. Fire Gardenhire. This teams a joke. Got my season ticket renewal package in the mail for next year. I already told Twins management, only reason why I am renewing is for a chance to go to the 2014 All Star Game, thats the only reason. The season tickets go up for sale on Stubb Hubb. I'm not going to any games next season. The 2013 National and American League All Star teams had almost enough recently departed Twins on their starting roster to where the Twins could have fielded their team this year. The owners should be arrested for bilking the public, Both Gardenhire and his pal Rick both need to be fired. Liriano is in contention for a Cy Young award this year and he was constantly told to pitch to contact. Rick Anderson is as much a joke as Gardy

The Pohlads are some of the worst owners in sport. But still no stories on how bad they are. Or how they should sell the team. Incredible. TC market is full of poor sports writers.

Patrick while I understand it is not all of Gardy's fault. He plays a part of the Twins recent failures. Why was he pitching to Cano with a base open @ Target field? The defense has gone down.Besides Hicks nobody makes outstanding defensive plays. Guys not doing basics. Hitting cutoffs. Throwing to the correct base. Even the hustle isn't what it has been. Gardy should sit there and watch for the rest of the season. And the Pohlads should sell the team. They aren't living up to their word. They haven't kept the salary competitive. You don't get better by continually slashing the payroll.Boycott until the Pohlads sell the team.

Give me a break. Gardy has done a terrific job with the teams he's been given. Who is going to come in now and turn this team around? Nobody. Don't give me Tom Brunansky either. Bruno would screw up a one-car funeral let alone manage at the major league level. Gardy's Heroes will get it going after the All-Star break with Gardy running the show. Hey Gardy! You're the MAN!

The twins have a better batting average, have more hits and have scored more runs than the yankees, in 3 fewer games than the yankees. Yet the yankees have won 13 more games! One word PITCHING! It's not Gardys fault pohlad's the penniless, refuse to invest in quality arms. Trade some of those prospects and pay for frontline pitching. And if it puts them over budget, too bad. And quit going to the games, then maybe they will break down and spend some of carl's money. Otherwise, just enjoy the cellar. Gardy cannot turn journeyman arms into CY Young winners. And I am not even a twins fan. But it's so obvious, you homers don't see it.

maybe its more the owners fault not gardy's...thats what that columnist should of wrote about, when will the owners step up and acquire an arm for the team....those owners are the richest in baseball and they do nothing to help out there team.....even more money than the steinbrenners and artie in anaheim...just nobody really knows....thats why they don't go on spending sprees and acquire some top line players bc it would be out that they have money....those owners alone have just as much back up as magic and the guggenheim partners...and they have billions...and i'm a new yorker...i can only believe how pissed people in minnesota are and they should ring this reporters head for not doing a report on the terrible owner ship....maybe they should come to me....oh and steinback wont change this team...after reading some of your minnesota fan base messages you really don't know baseball...your pitching staff stinks and there is nothing gardy can do about that....maybe ask the owners to step up...garza out there as well as others...great stadium by the way your paying for with your tax dollars the owners got you to pay for

It's a little late to get rid of him now, may as well finish the year out.

Fire him. Minnesota tolerates, and even embraces mediocrity. In any other market, he would have already been fired.

The only reason to keep Gardy around for the rest of the season is to allow Brunansky more time to observe the game...afterall...is there any doubt he was brought here from Rochester only to be the next manager at the end of the season?
