U expands alcohol sales at three campus venues

Regents approved alcohol sales for events at Northrop Auditorium, the Morris Student Center and the Les Bolstad Golf Course.

So the "U" can sell another 1 million beers @ $8.00 a beer and LOSE money. In HS we sold all you can drink cups for $1.00 at the keggers and we raked in the money.

Wouldn't be bad if the adults acted like adults once they have had a couple of beers, but unfortunately they don't. I am not sure why everything has to be centered around alcohol. If they can't go 2-3 hours without having a beer then I would say they have a problem. So are the police going to be sitting outside ready to test everyone bac to make sure they aren't driving drunk. Our society is really going to h e l l in a hand basket!!

A step forward. Now lets see the regents do something about reducing expenses at the U. The state bailout is only for two years so they need to get busy and take action to keep education affordable for our kids.

Your authoritarianism is showing.
