You continue to raise my property tax on my home that is worth less than I owe on it and now you want to reach in my pocket to take another $10 a year to drive my own car? Typical!

I pay Hennepin County property tax, sales tax for Target Field, and a new sales tax when I spend money in Minneapolis for the new Vikings stadium. I'm on a fixed income. When does it end?

Another day and another tax by the out of control DFL. You would think 2 billion at the state level would be enough for everybody!

A tax on car owners that will go towards paying for roads and transit? That is crazy-talk.

Surly all these DFL people must be trying to vote themselves out of a job.

The politicians in Minnesota will never pass up a chance to take your money and spend it for you.

I give up! Why don't we all just send in everything we earn into all forms of government ... and then have them send us back whatever is left over ... and call it an 'entitlement' ...

Let's charge the bicyclist's a fee for using the road, running stop signs, not yielding to cars and pedestrians. Maybe the fee could be the cost of their spandex shorts? They pay absolutely nothing for the use of the roads!

I think a $100 fee per car is more reasonable. This would give Hennepin county 90 million dollars a year and all of us could get a free bus pass as long we promise to attend all DFL rallies.
