Paula Deen ends business relationship with agent after racial slur admission devastates empire

SAVANNAH, Ga. — Paula Deen announced Thursday that she has cut business ties with the agent who helped make her a Food Network star and launch a media and merchandising empire that has largely crumbled in the wake of her admission that she used racial slurs in the past.

Read how this whole thing got started. A Caucasian woman had her attorney send Dean's attorney a letter demanding one million dollars to keep this 20-30 year old "secret" quite. Instead, Dean rejected the extortion attempt and this old "problem" has ruined her career. Hate her all you want, but let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

This thing with Paula Dean is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. I do not know of one single person that I have met in my 70 years that has used the "N" word derogatorily and that includes all people both white, which I am and black.

sad that someone's career can fall like this after saying one word. Half the county should be fired then.
