Yankees hammer Gibson, complete four-game sweep of Twins

Not a week into Kyle Gibson’s career, and already he pitches like a veteran, like he’s been a Minnesota Twin for years.

This Twins team is a very bad team right now.

Hey, stop complaining as your Minnesota Twins only gave up 29 runs in four games while scoring 14. Just think how many more runs that the injury depleted Yankees would have scored against the great pitching and defense of your Minnesota Twins had the Bombers been at full strength! Mauer struck out again in the 9th to add to his total of two strikeouts earlier in the game. But hey, thanks again for the new stadium that increased the value of our franchise...and we should be able to field a legitimate major league team in 2-3 years and four years at the outside...if everything goes right.

They played like they looked. That uniform combination with the special hat..you could see the Yankees laughing at them.

Too lazy to look up the stat, but I have to assme that the Twins lead the league in runners left on base. I see that lthough they had two fewer hits than the Yankees, theycored 4 fewer runs. And I think last night they had more hits. It's a common occurence.

What an absolute beat-down of a home series. And at the hands of a visiting team with so many top players out, no less.

Wow, Kyle Gibson gets shelled and Aaron Hicks still barely batting his weight. I guess were developing players for the future.
