Judge taps ex-FBI director Louis Freeh to probe alleged misconduct by BP spill claims lawyer

NEW ORLEANS — Former FBI Director Louis Freeh was appointed Tuesday to investigate alleged misconduct by a lawyer who helped run BP's multibillion-dollar settlement fund.

"Marshes, fisheries and beaches from Louisiana to Florida were fouled by the oil until a cap was placed over the blown-out well in July 2010." ---- Ummm, no. The beaches are still being fouled up. The BP commercials are full of lies.

These "settlements" are always about how much money the lawyers can transfer into their bank accounts. The actual claimants are used as pawns to maximize the lawyers' fees, and the claimants' portion is ALWAYS sacrificed if the lawyers' payoff is met.
