The one person who exacerbates any chance of America coming together is Obama. In almost every speech and almost every action, Obama separates Americans. Of course his election rhetoric was to bring Americans together but no president has ever divided America so much. The president is in a unique position. He is the only one that can calm the waters and bring some openness and cooperation between Republicans and Democrats. But if you denigrate Republicans at every turn and take extreme action such as the global warming action, you continue to divide America. This is not a dictatorship. Compromises can be good and can be good for America but not extreme positions without congressional involvement. Obama will leave this office in 4 years with a destroyed America that may never return to its position of greatness.

The irrational hatred you people have for this president has been evident the moment he took office. Exacerbated by 24/7, 365 hate speech on right-wing talk radio. That's where the division is...don't even attempt to deny it.
