Classes offered across Twin Cities teach students how to cope with a mental health emergency.

Sounds like a really good program.

This has the potential for seriously harming mental health patients simply for the fact that the graduates of these classes will have just enough knowledge to be extremely dangerous. The training required to assist persons in crisis takes years. Hopefully they will remember to judge each case as an individual human being and not just give us another label, assign us another number and lock us up in yet another worthless institution.

Just what we need - a bunch of amateur psychologists like crystal bay thinking they are helping, but doing more damage than good.
