MINNEAPOLIS — For the first 20 years of his life, almost every time Shabazz Muhammad turned around on a basketball court, his father was right there behind him.

#1 - So glad to hear that Dante Cunningham is coming back! #2 - Good for Shabazz Muhammad, to have that talk with his father and to take appropriate control of his own life. I'm looking to see him continue to grow as a person and a basketball player and I'm looking to the Wolves to provide appropriate leadership-by-example and mentorship for this talented young man so he can reach his potential and become the "steal of the draft" for my beloved Timberwolves.

Also glad Dante is coming back. The rookie would be smart to pay attention to Dante's work ethic, respect for the game, and preparation. Time will tell if the rookie will live up to the potential.

Obviously there are a lot of Shabazz skeptics out there right now saying he's got "bust" written all over him. The draft didn't go as anyone expected but at least we have a guy with some potential. This experience should have humbled and focused him, and he has the physical abilities to be the steal of this draft. Time will tell.

Tendency to coast? Tendency???? That's being pretty politically correct Flip! The kid is flat out lazy! Can't defend, doesn't move without the ball, can't create. I'm guessing the Wolves just cringed when they were forced to take him. He was definitely not on their blue chip list. I say deal him now..... And if anyone needs to be reminded- just replay the UCLA - Gopher game from last year and keep your eye on him. Terrible!
