Wild should buyout Koivu now and Heatley later. Create $15MM of cap space and pick up 4 top level players in return. Koivu is replaceable.

Perhaps the Wild should should start with a replacement general manager.

i have been saying for at least two years get rid of CC. if they can't, then offer him a two-way or league minimum. BTW, Parise is easily more replaceable than Koivu.

HA! Oh, wow. I'm still laughing at this. I can't even begin to describe how ridiculous this is: "i have been saying for at least two years get rid of CC. if they can't, then offer him a two-way or league minimum. BTW, Parise is easily more replaceable than Koivu." I hope you are joking... Or are you mad because you bought a Stinko Koivu jersey. LOL. Okay... Perspective real quick: NOBODY wants Koivu. Many teams want Clutter. MANY TEAMS. Huh.

don't trade konopka he wins 90% of his faceoffs...you need someone like that..

Would love to see them trade or buy out Brodziak. I think there's plenty of center depth, especially organization wide, if they re-sign Cullen. What we don't have is TOP END center depth, and Brodziak doesn't nothing to solve that dilemma. Give Granlund the third line and see if he can play for at least half a season. Let Mitchell center the fourth. Then you have Graovac (who will soon be a star), Haula, Phillips, and others in the system. The truth is, Brodziak's $2.8M could pay for Cullen for the next two years, and Brodziak proved this past season that he's just not skilled enough to play in this system. Also, how are they going to trade Falk, Michael? According to everything I've seen, Falk is a UFA.

Ive been saying this for a long time "GET RID OF BRODZIAK" he's lame at best, Stoner is right behind him in the "worst players in the NHL" I think rather then worrying about making the playoffs next year, the Wild need to worry about getting themselves in the position to make a strong statement.. Big deal you make the playoffs, one and out.. The Wild need to accept the facts and get these high end rookies in the game on a full time basis, then and only then will we really know what we have, then there will be no pastels just black and white facts !!! Granlund, Zucker, Coyle, Fontaine etal have NHL experience and would relish in the opportunity to play with the big boys.. Also, I hope the Wild's recruiting staff keeps their eyes open for undrafted talent, look at Chicago's Andrew Shaw, gotta give the kid alot of credit for being a undrafted walk-on who made a huge difference for the Blackhawks..It's too bad they didnt give Johan Larsson a better look before tossing him into a rediculous trade package for Pominville.. All in all, I think the upcoming season will be fine (as long as you dont place to high of expectations for playoff happiness) Lets get a few of these unsigned players (Cullen, Spurgeon etc) signed, play our deep list of prospects more this upcoming season and have a concrete answer to the Wild's future

lindy- Knoepka wasn't brought in to win face offs ... he was brought in to put up his dukes. Your figure of winning 90% of the face offs - could be. But he loses 90% of his fisticuffs. He gets his @xx handed to him every time he put 'em up! He does seem like a good community guy though and might be great in community relations.

To Me Clutterbuck is not performing to the level he is capable of performing at, he is a classic underachieving player on this team, Fletch and Uncle Leo have allot of them BUT Clutterbuck has had enough I reckon. I am sure that Uncle Leos recent comments about " were going in the right direction" was real convincing to Clutter, heheh :) ....... His comments about his unhappiness getting rid of Nick Schultz spoke volumes AND of course now were talking about buying Gilbert Grape out

Chuck you should step down. Nick Leddy should be forever greatful of the Cam(the stiff) Baker trade.
