I’ve lost track of how many people are running for mayor of Minneapolis, and I’ve also lost my program that diagrams the six levels of separation from current Mayor R.T. Rybak and the scrum of DFLers fighting to replace him.

I think this guy's non-Minnesota roots are showing, if in fact he thinks you can run Minneapolis like you can run Edina.

"I think this guy's non-Minnesota roots are showing, if in fact he thinks you can run Minneapolis like you can run Edina."---Yeah, cost containment and balanced budgets are foreign concepts to Minneapolis (and Minnesota in general).

"Yeah, cost containment and balanced budgets are foreign concepts to Minneapolis (and Minnesota in general)." Oh, please. Managing the finances of a rich, fairly homogeneous, bedroom suburb is not the same as managing the finances of a good-sized core city like Minneapolis. (That doesn't mean I endorse the way Minneapolis is currently being run, by the way.) As for Minnesota in general: most municipalities in Minnesota have good credit ratings from agencies who do those ratings.

I don't want this guy as mayor...I want this guy running the city council...that's where the most incompetence currently exists
