At least 2,109 US military deaths in Afghanistan since 2001

As of Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at least 2,109 members of the U.S. military had died in Afghanistan as a result of the U.S.-led invasion of Afghanistan in late 2001, according to an Associated Press count.

As a retired Marine I have one request, Can my brothers come home now. Please. Bin Laden is dead. Stop the deaths of our soldiers. The west cannot solve the problems of Islam. Let the Afghans have their civil war.

No mention of US contractor deaths. No mention of US casualties. No mention of civilian casualties+wounded. No mention of badguys killed. No mention of the $$ costs.
