I know not many read these comments let alone who makes them, but regardless I cannot stress enough how much I want this kid (KCP) on the Wolves next year. MY biggest fear is he goes 8 to Detroit.

frnorth...I also like KCP but I Could also accept C.J.McCollum. If Detroit takes KCP..... C.J would provide instant offense of the bench for the Wolves.I have heard that Flip also likes him.

LJB - You were more in favor of McCollum over KCP a couple weeks ago. Care to share what changed your mind ?

Muddy Oasis...I still like C.J. and think he is going to an excellent NBA player.I was not as familiar with KCP but did some more reading and watched some film.He is a little more of what the Wolves need at SG and apparently he plays hard on both ends of the floor.I sill would not be disappointed having C.J. because of his shooting ability which the Wolves need badly. On this Wolves team he would probably be a sixth man kind of player at least to start. The Wolves still need to sign an experienced SG which I am hopeful they an do.

Just heard a rumor of Marshon Brooks for one of our picks. Probably the #26.

It's funny I really wanted Marshon in the draft a couple of years ago when he was right there for us to nab. And then Kahn went on his fund raising campaign to buy out Rambis. I would still take him over Malcolm Lee (who we eventually ended up with instead), but his game really regressed in the NBA and he is horrible from the perimeter. Not sure about his D. I am going to guess Flip still thinks he can be the player I thought he was going to be when he came out of college. I think this may be a salary dump by NJ and we can get him for a lot less then a number 1. Maybe Jelly Belly and a 2.

Did Brooks really regress ? Or did Joe Johnson just take all his minutes ? I don't know the answer to that. I really like Malcolm Lee...he can be a pest on D. I want to see him and Rubio on the court for a little bit together. He was just starting to get into a groove when he went down.

Frnorth - Hmmmm, stats don't support your claim that Brooks regressed. Output might have decreased but that could be expected with the arrival of Joe Johnson. He went from 30 minutes a game to 12, but his PER, win shares, FG percentage, and true shooting percentage all increased.

Sad to say: whoever we pick in 1st (shooting guard) - the next one picked will be WAY better - that's how it goes with the Wolves?

Muddy, I am not sure what it is about Malcolm Lee's game you like since he has played a total of what 35 games over two seasons? If you're still buying potential I'm selling ocean front property we should hook up. Stats you say. Did you want me to post his game logs from last year or are you cool with looking them up yourself. Again Ocean front property for sale call me...
