Immigration bill clears Senate test with votes to spare

WASHINGTON — Historic immigration legislation cleared a key Senate hurdle with votes to spare on Monday, pointing the way to near-certain passage within days for $38 billion worth of new security measures along the border with Mexico and an unprecedented chance at citizenship for millions living in the country illegally.

Another lousey immigration bill from the US Senate that will provide a pathway to citizenship for 12Million and then go on to to flood the US Labor market with an additional 33Million cheap foreign workers over the next decade to raise unemployment, reduce wages and reduce benefits for working class Americans.

The CBO stated if this bill passes 75% of the current illegal immigration will keep happening in the years to come. So what is their grand plan? Do this all over in another 10 years and grant amnesty to more millions of illegals?

Americans are pretty solidly behind the value of failure in this amnesty bill, yet party representatioves keep lying to us on a daily basis about their efforts here. What are we going to do about that?

This is one lousy piece of legislation and must not be enacted. No pathways to citizenship until the 700 miles of border fence that was supposed to be installed five years ago is actually completed. Without a sound border we'll simply be watching the same Kabuki dance 10 years from now.
