So many other great brands that are much cheaper that I discovered in their absence. I've probably eaten my last Hostess product. I wish them the very best though.

Hopefully they would take the opportunity to make their products taste better. I don't know what they did over the years, but the newer product taste left a lot to be desired, compared to the same products made earlier in their history.

Thank goodness these carcinogenic "Wonders" are coming back! Obesity clinics, cancer centres, and funeral parlors rejoice... your business won't suffer due to no Twinkies!

@orvesta I had the same thought. The end of Twinkies seemed to rise to the level of a constitutional crisis. If only Americans could generate that amount of outrage over real injustice.

I won't wish them happy returns, they mismanaged the company, stole millions by bonuses for driving the joint into the mud, blamed the workers and went chapter to dump the unions. never again will I be their customer.

WOO-HOO! Twinkies are back!!! I mean, C'mon people - There Twinkies! Can't we just be happy that something so great made a comeback? Not only does this mean these tasty high-fat treats are coming back, but some of them much needed jobs to our men and women in the U.S. - In a world where the news is 90% negative, I call this a win.

Note to the media headline writers...nobody cares about the Twinkie. Many may care about any number of other Hostess snacks, but the Twinkies that headline writers obsess about are way down the list of Hostess snacks in terms of customer appeal. And frankly, if the only way Hostess can stage this "sweet comeback" is by removing even more workers from the ranks of the middle-class, they can keep their other snack cakes as well.

I'm sure all of the obese people riding around in their little carts down the snack aisle at Walmart will be popping wheelies in anticipation.

I've found raw vegtables and fruit to be a better and healthier alternative. Besides, after what the brand did to their employes, I don't want to open my wallet for them.

"they mismanaged the company, stole millions by bonuses for driving the joint into the mud, blamed the workers and went chapter to dump the unions." ... I'll agree they maybe mismanaged the company by not standing up to the un-reasonable union contracts earlier in their history, however I highly doubt they "stole" millions. Sounds to me like someone drank the union Kool-aide and now is angry because they became another chapter in the history of union demise. Not saying unions are bad, just stating their track record has been very un-favorable in recent years. This would lead me to question does union leadership have a clue on reality anymore? Doubtful!
