MADISON, Wis. — State wildlife officials say a telephone cable project in south-central Wisconsin could kill endangered lizards.

This is really a non-story. The headline leads you to believe the telephone cable will cause the lizard to go extinct. The article itself refutes the allegation. Why bother to print it.

Really? I'm sure the telephone wire will not be the leading reason of lizards losing their lives this year.
