Aerialist Wallenda completes quarter-mile tightrope walk across gorge near Grand Canyon

LITTLE COLORADO RIVER GORGE, Ariz. — Aerialist Nik Wallenda completed a tightrope walk that took him a quarter mile over the Little Colorado River Gorge in northeastern Arizona on Sunday.

I watched the last 5 minutes but had to turn the sound off. What was the deal with all the religious ranting? Was this some kind of revival?

That's exactly what I wondered when they announced that a paramedic was on the canyon floor during the event.

As far as the 'religious ranting', I'm an atheist that just might find God if I was on that wire looking down. Whatever it takes to calm the nerves.

If this guy would have realized God didn't help the people on the Titanic, 9/11, and Amanda Berry (well for 10 years anyways), he might have fell off the rope...
