As minicamp ended Thursday and the Vikings scattered for a 34-day break before training camp, quarterback Christian Ponder expressed satisfaction with the offense’s evolution.

From Winter Park, reports were Ponder look absolutely horrible in Tues' OTA practice but bounced back wed/thurs with a decent practice. Can someone explain to me how a 3rd year QB, in a practice with no pads, no pass russ, look horrid? Isn't this a huge RED FLAG?

Correction--for Ponderosa fans, it's his 2nd FULL season (Not 3rd year). My bad.

“We’ve got guys getting down the field, we’ve got guys getting open,” he said. --- Has he noticed who's guarding them?

I don't care what anybody says, WR's were getting at least some separation last year. Guys are not going to be wide open all the time. Ponder was just afraid to pull the trigger, because he knows he can't "thread the needle".

WHEN DOES IT STOP !!!!! I guess its the norm for us "Americans" to do as we do. We pay CEO's bonuses to motivate them to do their job's. Why not pay PONDER more money? Maybe he'll do a better job. I like the kid, but ability and confidence are two different things. If your lacking in both, I don't care how much people want him to do well, its not going to happen. Sorry Ponder ! I like you, but I put wins way above liking.....

He should never be "satisfied" with the passing offense. He should always be hungry to improve every practice and every game.

Ponder might be satisfied but nobody else is especially the odds makers in Vegas who have the Vikes winning five games with him at QB. SI has Ponder rated the 38th ranked QB in the league.Wake up..this team has no chance with Spielman's first round bust at QB. By mid season AP will be dropping hints he wants out of this fiasco! Harvin knew exactly what he was doing when he said Ponder is a loser.
