Clueless owner. Next years one and done playoff series will change his tune. The team has one decent line, soft defense and shaky goaltending. Fletcher traded for a mediocre Pominville that cost us a ton. Leipold, better start the rebuilding process...AGAIN. Seems perpetual.

Watch the finals. More pucks on net than the Wild can muster. A few more finishers would be nice.

I read the first couple of sentences, Niklas Backstrom was hurt during warmups .... Mister Leipold, you did not deserve to be in the playoffs to begin with. LET ME SAY IT AGAIN. YOU DID NOT DESERVE TO BE IN THE PLAYOFFS. If did not matter whether Backstrom was hurt or not in warmups, we can call that KARMA. Greenlay said Kobasew did not kick the puck in the net and the whole Avalanche bench was shaking their heads.... Kobasew scored the goal and your team should have been ousted from the opportunity to be slayed by the Hawks. DON'T TALK about Backstrom being hurt..... I will read a few more paragraphs now

Leipold felt the Wild had bad Karma going into the series..... Yes the Bad Karma started with the fans enduring the pathetic performance against Calgary and Edmonton, if anything you were lucky to make the playoffs instead of the Bluejackets who deserved to be there........ The Wild Got better, You bought some players ?? your team was booed and were lackluster many nights, Parise had his worst year as a pro..... What direction are you going in Mister Leiopold ? The only way this team gets better is if it gets better leadership and that means adding adding a lemaire type back in the mix..... He was selling tickets but boy were those fans quiet, they booed plenty as well...... Even if you can get Lemaire back here for one year to be a part of this on ice leadership it would help greatly and maybe save Yeo.......

I can't understand the fascination with holding on to the weak players and coaches. I think we all know who's who on that list.... getting a headache thinking about it.

The scary thing is it is highly doubtful that the Wild will even make the playoffs next year. If you roll with backstrom he's going to be run of the mill given his age. The defense is still suspect behind the top pairing and they only have one guy who scores dirty goals in Parise, who has no chemistry with el Kapitan Koivu. They most likely will be down a second line center and unless Granlund grew wings and 25lbs of muscle mass it seems that he's not the answer at that position. On top of it all they move into an extremely difficult central division next year agains the Blues who they never beat and the Black Hawks who are loaded for years to come... not a good outlook for next season.

I talked with the Chicago brass when they were here, and they thought (as I did) we gave up way too much for Pominville. Chuck always ends up on the wrong end of trades, so if I am an NHL GM, he is the first call I am making. Yeo's team was outplayed and outcoached towards the end of the year and during the playoffs....he should have been gone.

Here is what I do not like about the Wild or I think is so dreary: 80% of the roster is filled with underachievers. We have a terrible forechecking system. We are afraid to take chances including our defensemen. We lack fire and/or skills. Our GMs have made terrible trades or picks. Granlund has been touted for years and then he shows up… or does he? Our coach is not getting anything out of his team or his system stinks. Our fans are great for paying the money but they are lifeless. I cannot stand our logo. I don’t like our name… go back to the NorthStars. I loathe the blairing stinky music in breaks. Our owner gives me no hope. Go watch the Bruins play Wild. Learn from them.

The Wild are right on course? Does he mean the golf course? They were no question the weakest team in the playoffs this year and are a longshot at best to make the playoffs next year. Yeo and Fletcher would be gone in any other market where the tradition is winning not just competing. Look at the coaches that were fired this year and any of them would be a major upgrade for the Wild. Look at the teams in the cup finals and the Wilds so called top end talent would have trouble making the 3rd or 4th line. The team has no cap space because they have overpaid mediocre talent throughout the lineup. Get ready for a long season.
