You know your job security is shaky when the chief executive announces on national television that you’ve stayed too long. That’s especially true when the chief executive is president of the United States.

The make it up as you go Fed policy of printing $85 billion a month to decrease unemployment has been a failure as unemployment has not dropped very much. The aftermath of this bond buying spree will probably not be good. Inflation is on the horizon . The people who have put their money in CDs and conservative investments have been hurt. The Federal reserve which is no more "Federal" than Federal Express needs to play a lesser role in the US economy.

Get ready for obama's house of cards to collapse. Everyone claiming that the stock market is a result of Wall Street's confidence in obama are naive. This charade has gone on too long and it will be a painful reality ahead.

"Inflation is on the horizon" davidpalmer, wasn't inflation just around the corner in 2011? You have no evidence of this.

armybrat- the stock market's confidence in anything is like the proverbial chicken with it's head cut off. It runs around shouting that the sky is falling most of the time. Not sure how that can be a result of anything but the nature of the market itself. Obama and more importantly Bernanke kept this country from falling over the cliff when the stock market became a bunch of confidence men. Pun intended.

The only confidence men were the ones who gave the TBTF banks top dollar for their toxic mortgages by creating money out of thin air.

schriste - The obama regime kept us from falling over a cliff? Did he save us from the plague as well? Neither happened so both must be true.
